TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION

By duly registering for the Race Around Austria via the official registration form and by fully paying the applicable entry fee, a binding participation agreement is concluded between the organizer and the athlete or the team (represented by the respective team contact person). The participant thereby acquires a starting place in the respective event booked.

GDPR notice: The personal data provided during registration will be stored electronically and processed in the legitimate interest of the organizer.

The entry fee is generally non-refundable. Transfer of the starting place to another event year, to another person, or to another event is excluded. The conclusion of a participant cancellation insurance (e.g. travel or sports insurance) is the sole responsibility of the participant or team and is expressly recommended. In the event of the withdrawal of an individual team member, a substitute participant may be nominated up to one day prior to the race start, provided that all participation requirements are met.

A change of the team name is possible until 1 July of the respective event year.

In the event of cancellation, non-performance, interruption, or shortening of the event due to force majeure or other reasons beyond the organizer’s control (in particular natural events such as flooding, storms, cold, or snow, official orders, legal regulations, or other circumstances rendering the event impossible), there shall be no entitlement to a refund of the entry fee.
Furthermore, there shall be no entitlement to compensation for any other damages or expenses, in particular travel, accommodation, or subsistence costs. This also applies in the event of non-participation by the participant.

Mandatory requirements for participation are:

  • acceptance of these Terms and Conditions,
  • acceptance of the applicable event regulations, and
  • timely submission of the liability waiver signed by all athletes and all support crew members at the race office.

The liability waivers and the event regulations are available for download in the “Download” section.

The organizer expressly reserves the right to exclude participants from the event or to reject registrations without stating reasons.
The exclusive place of jurisdiction shall be Vöcklabruck, insofar as legally permissible.
