RAA 200

For everyone who has always wanted to ride the first 200 kilometers of the Race Around Austria together.

Not a bike marathon, but better.

The RAA 200 is a mix of route inspection, bike marathon, joint training ride and subsequent wellness afternoon. Without timekeeping, the route is mastered together like a social ride. The hilly passages can be covered at your own pace thanks to different performance classes. Nevertheless, an innovative and well thought-out concept guarantees that the participants can benefit from the slipstream of the participants in the numerous flat sections by riding together as a group. The first 200 kilometers of the Race Around Austria can be completed effortlessly in the course of the RAA 200, regardless of whether you want to take part in the race yourself or have always wanted to experience the route of Austria's most emotional cycle race.

Procedure and schedule on Saturday, May 10, 2025

Start times:

07:00: Group 1 (Base)
07:20 Group 2 (Ambitious)

Before that, the day luggage is loaded onto the bus.

After 40 kilometers, there will be a short stop together in Kirchberg near Mattighofen, at the highest point before a 60-kilometer flat section. This is followed by the joint journey of both groups to Schärding. All participants benefit from the shared slipstream. In this section of the route, ambitious athletes have the task of supporting all other participants at a constant pace.

The first real, longer break (changing room and refreshment facilities) is in Schardenberg after almost 120 kilometers. There is also the escort bus with the day luggage. The ascent from Schärding to Schardenberg is thus covered at an individual pace before waiting again at the stopover in Schardenberg. A break of about 20-30 minutes is scheduled.

After the break, there will be a joint start in Schardenberg and the journey will continue in the group as far as the Wesenufer (Danube Bridge). The last 40 hilly kilometers in the Mühlviertel are mastered at your own individual pace.

Planned arrival is between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the INNSHOLZ NATUR- and VITALHOTEL****

This is followed by a SPA afternoon and use of the entire wellness area.

7:00 p.m.: Return transport by bus + bike trailer to St. Georgen im Attergau (arrival approx. 8:30 p.m.). There is also an option to get off in Linz.
